1)Describe Color and it's effects on emotions. Use the appropriate vocabulary of color in your posting

Color is a basic function of light. Light has a huge effect on our emotions, so does color.  We have a direct emotional response to color, but our responses are both based on culture and our own personal sense. For example, red and green are usually associated with Christmas. However, that's the same for people who don't believe in Christmas. Red can be associated with anger and love, while the color yellow can be associated with the sun and happiness.

2. What is a theoretical aspect of color that most intrigues/fascinates you? Why?

I think that the effect of color on our emotions is fascinating. Not only because there is a relationship, but the fact that everyone is different. I knew that people had favorite colors, but I didn't think certain colors could effect moods and make people anger or happy.

3. In the Color video, what made the biggest impact on you in regards to color and it's effects on emotions?

The entire video was interesting, but I loved how the video connected the dots for me between color and emotion. I knew we all had favorite colors, but I really liked how the video described why certain colors effect our emotions.


4. In the Feelings video, what made the biggest impact on you in regards to color and it's effects on emotions?

Goya's painting were extremely interesting in this video. He paints both happy and sad pieces and uses color at the forefront. His happy joyful paintings are very bright and colorful, his sad paintings are dark and gloomy, giving off a depression effect.
